Fascial Manipulation® – Stecco® Method
Sometimes the history matters as much as the symptoms.
A systematic manual therapy approach considering fascia, movement and relevant previous injuries.
What is fascia?
Fascia is connective tissue that surrounds and links muscles and other structures. The Stecco® Method examines how specific fascial areas may relate to movement and musculoskeletal dysfunction.
Why look beyond the painful area?
An old injury, fracture or surgery can be relevant when it fits the history and movement findings. The painful location is therefore not automatically assumed to be the only area worth examining.
How is it assessed?
The process combines detailed history, movement testing and palpation to form a treatment hypothesis.
Important: Fascial Manipulation® is not presented here as a chiropractic adjustment technique. It is a complementary manual therapy approach.
